Cube root simplified

Well we all know how irritating it is to find cube root of a perfect cube .Here is a trick way to get things done 100 times faster.
1st you need to list cubes of all nos from 0 - 9
0-0
1-1
2-8
3-27
4-64
5-125
6-216
7-343
8-512
9-729

Now we are set to find the cube root.

let the cube be n=250047

now just compare the units place of n ,i.e. 7, with your table .It matches with 3 ,so the units place of the root is 3

to find the tens place remove three digits from right ,i.e. 250,and compare it with the cubes in the table .In this case 216<250<512 .this corresponds to 6

Therefore the cube root is 63.
